Callahan Bright

A native of Bryn Mawr, PA, Callahan “Rex” Bright attended Shaw University. Bright spent two seasons on the scout team at Shaw before finally playing and recording 48 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and half a sack. At the conclusion of his 2009 season, Bright entered the NFL Draft, but was not selected by any team. Bright then entered the Arena Football League (AFL) and over the course of a year and a half, he played for the Philadelphia Soul, New Orleans Voodoo and the Pittsburgh Power before signing with the Wild midway through the 2012 season. Playing in all seven of the Wild’s remaining games last season, Bright tallied 33 total tackles, one and a half sacks and two forced fumbles.
