Chinn joins the Wild after spending the past five seasons with the RiverCity Rage. Chinn and the Rage advanced to the IFL title game in 2009. Chinn led the team and finished fourth in the IFL in receptions with 77. Chinn also amassed 11 touchdowns in the regular season. The Miami, FL native also led the team in receptions with 43 in 2008. Chinn scored seven touchdowns through the air, which led the team. Chin was named to the league All-Star team following the 2008 campaign.
In 2007, Chinn again led the Rage in receptions with 84. He scored a total of 16 touchdowns during the year and was named to the league All-Star team. In the spring of 2006, Chinn spent time in tryout camps with the Seattle Seahawks and St. Louis Rams of the NFL and the Utah Blaze of the AFL. Chinn went on to play for RiverCity in the summer and set a Rage record by scoring six touchdowns in a game. Chinn’s first season of professional football was in 2005 when he led the Rage in rushing yards.
Chinn played at Western New Mexico University in 2003 and 2004. Chinn recorded a 99-yard reception vs. Northern Illinois and compiled over 100 yards rushing vs. New Mexico State in 2004. Chinn started his college career at Arizona Western, where he was an All-Conference selection in 2001 and 2002.
