For the second season in a row, the Wichita Wild will play for the right to advance to United Bowl. Wichita earned a second round playoff victory on Friday night by defeating the Rochester Raiders by a score of 45-33. The Wild will play either the Sioux Falls Storm or Chicago Slaughter for the United Conference title.
Darius Fudge accumulated 97 total yards and three rushing touchdowns. The Wild ran for 114 total yards against the league second best rush defense. Hurtiss Chinn led all recievers with seven receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown. Clinton Solomon caught five passes for the Wild for 42 yards and two touchdowns.
Dixie Wooten was a very efficient 19-of-23 passing for 135 yards and three touchdowns.
The Storm and Slaughter will do battle in Sioux Falls on Saturday night. Should Chicago win, the conference championship will be played in Wichita. If Sioux Falls wins the game will be played in Sioux Falls.
