The Wichita Wild suffered their 4th loss of the season on Saturday night to drop their record to 8-4. Wichita scored the games final touchdown with 3.8 seconds remaining in the game, but could not convert an attempt to tie the game with a 2-point conversion. The scoreboard read 40-38 when the final gun sounded.
Dixie Wooten led the Wild going 23-of-39 passing for 213 yards and four touchdowns. Clinton Solomon hauled in nine catches for 89 yards and two touchdowns.
Despite the loss, Wichita clinched their second consecutive playoff berth. The playoff spot was clinched when Blooming defeated West Michigan by a score of 34-14. The IFL Playoffs will begin on June 26.
