The Wichita Wild gained 315 yards of total offense on Saturday night as they defeated the Sioux City Bandits 53-44. The Wild gained 207 yards through the air and 108 yards on the ground in the contest. Wichita moves to 7-3 and one step closer to clinching a playoff berth for the second consecutive season. Sioux City fell to 4-5 with the loss.
Darius Fudge paced the Wild with 91 yards on the ground and four total touchdowns. Quarterback Dixie Wooten passed for three touchdowns. Hurtiss Chinn led the Wild in receptions with eight for 115 yards and a touchdown.
Ene Akpan led the Wild defense with six tackles. Collin Bryant added a sack to set a Wild single season record for sacks as he now has 5.5 on the year.
