The Wichita Wild and Colorado Ice traded blows all night at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, CO on Saturday night. The Wild landed the final punch when Darius Fudge scored his third touchdown of the night with 3:40 left in the 4th quarter. The game included eight lead changes with each team holding the lead twice in the 4th quarter. Fudge finished the night with 83 rushing yards and 29 yards recieving.
Wild quarterback Dixie Wooten was 19-of-31 passing for 155 yards and one TD. Edgar Givens led the Wild in recieving with seven catches for 55 yards. Clinton Solomon added four catches for 40 yards and a touchdown.
Defensively for the Wild, Collin Bryant recorded a team single game record with four sacks in the game. Justin McKinney led the Wild with seven tackles on the evening.
The Wild hit the road again next week in Sioux City, IA to take on the Bandits in another Central Division showdown.
