The Wichita Wild solidified themselves as a contender for the Indoor Football League title on Saturday night with a 44-26 win over the previously undefeated Sioux Falls Storm. The Wild and Storm are now tied atop the Central Division with 4-1 records. The Wild's only loss is to Sioux Falls. Wichita handed Sioux Falls only their second loss at home since 2006 (39-2).
Wild running back Darius Fudge led the team on the ground with 56 yards and two touchdowns. He also added two receptions for 22 yards and a touchdown. Dixie Wooten was 6-for-16 passing for 76 yards and a touchdown. Wooten also ran for two TD's.
