Wild Add More Activities to November 1 Open House

October 21, 2009 -

The Wichita Wild and Hartman Arena are continuing to add activities to the Open House event planned for Sunday, November 1.  The Open House is FREE and open to the public.  As announced earlier this month, the day will kick off with open tryouts for the Wild football team from 10:00 AM to noon.  The cost to tryout is $50 and those interested can register starting at 9:00 AM.

Throughout the day fans interested in purchasing season tickets will be able to "Pick Your Seat" and purchase season tickets, which start at just $79 for the entire 2010 season.

A1 Promo, the Wild's Official Clothing and Merchandise Provider, will also be on hand to showcase and sell merchandise for the upcoming holiday season.  A1 Promo will have plenty 2009 Central Division Champion apparel available to purchase for all of the Wild fans on your Christmas list.

Kickers will take the field from noon to 1:00 PM with a tryout and “Kicks for a Cure” which will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Kicks for a Cure will feature Traci Nigg and Ashley Anderson kicking field goals with each made kick resulting in a donation from Wild owner Wink Hartman.  The two women will be trying out for the Wild as kicker as well as kicking to benefit Komen for the Cure.   Kicks for a Cure is co-sponsored by The Brett and Tracy Morning Show on B98 FM.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists.  They work together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures.  Komen has invested more than $1 billion to breast cancer awareness and research since its inception in 1982.

Season tickets for the 2010 season are currently on sale.  Fans can purchase tickets by calling call the Wild office at 316-440-5044 or go online to www.stage1tickets.com.  Tickets start at only $79 for the entire season.  The 2009 Wild finished with a 10-7 record and were crowned the Indoor Football League’s Central Division Champions.
